Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (CNA-2) Program

The Certified Nursing Assistant 2 training provides students with training in all aspects of the CNA-2 role in core competencies, acute care, dementia care, and restorative care. You will receive specialized training to assist licensed nursing personnel in hospital and other settings providing nursing care for patients. The program consists of a total of 88 hours, 60 hours in class/lab which includes lectures, small groups, videos, skills practice and 28 hours of supervised hands on training in a clinical setting. Upon successful completion of the program CNA's will be listed as a CNA-2 on Oregon State Board of Nursing's registry.

• Students must be listed on the Oregon State Board of Nursing registry as a CNA in good standing prior to enrollment in the training program.
• Students must be 18 years of age.
• Students must be able to read, write and communicate in english.

• CNA-2 Textbook
• Name Tag
• OSBN booklet for Nursing Assistants in Oregon 
• School supplies (notebook, paper, pens, highlighter)
• Drug Screening as indicated 
• Criminal Background Check

• Uniform - scrubs: any color or pattern.
• Athletic shoes, fully enclosed non-skid sole work shoes.
• Watch with a second hand (no digital watches)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card
• TB Test Screening 

1. To enroll in a program, email robyn@moorenurseconsulting.com with the date of the class you want to attend, your payment source, email address, and your full legal name. Enrollment paperwork is sent via DocuSign for paperless completion. Once enrollment paperwork is completed, an invoice will be emailed for the cost of tuition.

2. Pay your program fee of $1300.00. Due in full no later than the orientation date. In order to reserve your seat, we need at least $100 of the tuition (non-refundable) at the time of enrollment.

3. Attend an orientation for the program. See Orientation section below.

Please note: You will not be able to start the class until tuition is paid in full or other arrangements have been made.
