**COVID-19 UPDATE: Due to the COVID-19 Virus, clinical will not be at a nursing facility until further notice. Clinical will be completed in our classroom setting. Students will still graduate and become NA-1's, this will not interfere with their certification. Program is approved by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
The NA-1 classes will be held Monday through Friday for a total of 20 days for a total of 155 hours. 80 of those will be in classroom/lab and 75 will be in clinical in the designated nursing facility. Times will vary depending on location and class size.
Students will be actively participating and engaged in a classroom setting with books, handouts, video’s and skills lab time. After classroom material is completed students will participate in clinical in a nursing facility. Locations of clinical will vary. After successful completion of a class, the student will be issued an “Certificate of Completion” upon successful completion of the program. Upon receipt of the Certificate of Completion, the student will be eligible to test for certification in the State of Oregon for the class they successfully completed.
A Person wanting to take the class should be at least 18 years of age and be able to read, write and communicate in English fluently. If 16 or 17 years of age and wanting to take the class, contact Moore Nurse Consulting for details.
